Hi.

I know this is a verryyy old release, but it still works beautiful.

I have a v2 board which doesnt even have dip switches on the pcb yet

Put into a cabinet which had a Pandora in it before. Before I use a 'kick harness' on the V2 Raspberry, I was wondering if there was another way to switch it to JAMMA+ (being it didnt have dip switches yet) ?

I swear i have this really vague memory about being able to solder something on the pcb/jumpers to make that possible, or is that just in my head. Couldnt find any docs on it being so old

You're right, there's some bridgeable solder pads on the RJ V2 that can make it JAMMA+.

You need to remove the bridge to GND and the bridge 2 sets of 2 pads.  That said, I can't remember the details offhand and I've upgraded my PC twice since designing the V2 and don't have the files for it redily available to check the details for you.  I can grab a v2 out of one of my machines tomorrow to check it.

Are you still running an old RPi?  If you upgrade the fuse (and software) the V2 board should work fine for the latest RPis...

Running and old pi as well, but for the games running, still works good!

I found this picture you posted in the old forum

https://drive.google.com/open?id=11tZA6qiswK6JTPFM1fXJQR2wbN1c41vd

It shows 4 solder pads to be joined marked in red.

Not sure which 'ground' bridge needs to be removed though, couldnt see that marked anywhere. Not sure if you meant this in regards to the PCB, or if you are saying to remove ground wires on the JAMMA harness at pin 27 (top and bottom). The cab is hard wired to suit pandora, so basically pin 27 top and bottom are already wired to button 6 player 1 and 2 and only pin 28 is ground on the jamma harness plug. Was something else needed on the Raspberry JAMMA pcb to eliminate a ground bridge?

thanks

Update: soldered those red points together and buttons 5 and 6 work with pandora jamma+ wiring
Thanks

You can see one extra pad above the others in the image you posted, It's GND.  If it is joined to the 2 below it you will need to remove the join(s).

EDIT: looks like my reply was a bit late...
