GroovyMAME 275 to 279 upgrade:
completely replaces GroovyMAME 0.275 with GroovyMAME 0.279. Auto copies your existing ROMs, NVRAM and cfg files from 275 to 279 - if you don't want it to copy the NVRAM and cfg files comment out those 2 lines in the update script.
Note: GroovyMAME 0.275 is removed entirely.

Also the update system now has a progress bar.
It installs like an ARpiCADE update, will clean itself up and reboot automatically when done.

Nice... high scores ... are they automatically moved over?

hi scores shouldn't be effected, they were/are stored with the MAME 0.251 bits, 0.279 should use any existing scores.

Installed latest update on my 4P cabinet.  Went without much problem.  I did have to re-pull to adjust my ROMlists to .279 vs .275.  It was a little bit of a surprise to load up to zero art.  :)

Oh, this should be good, I was using .279 roms anyway.

Logging in here for the first time on the new forums, it has been a while since I updated my Arpicades, I currently have 2, one with a 3b and the other with pi4 but I haven't really kept up with things in a while.

Question, I am thinking about building a 4 player cab and was searching for some info to see what runs and what doesn't, I assume most of the common 4 player games work but is Blitz still something that is not really playable with the pi5?

Unfortunately the MAME version of Blitz is still out of reach.  That said,  the Dreamcast version works good and is just as fun IMHO...
