Hi all,
Having issues booting this morning. Im venturing a guess that its because I didnt exit to the main game menu screen before powering off the cabinet last night.

Whats happening at the moment is the boot sequence is doing its thing and it ends up at a login screen

username: pi
password:

then login or shutdown

I tried the password either blank, or Raspberry or raspberry - passwords dont work. But in any case, long and short, its not booting to the main games menu.

I sadly made the mistake of not making a full card backup after all my hard work setting everything up (button configs etc etc), so really trying to avoid having to erase and start fresh.

The cards still accessible on pc and all my roms etc are there, but no idea where all my button config files would be (if theyre on the linux partition im screwed, because i dont have any software to make changes to that partition)

Is there anything that can be done to get out of this login menu and get it to boot back into the normal games main menu again?

Also, whilst I cant write over/edit files on the linux partition (must be because i have a trial version of paragon), for what its worth this is what run.sh has in it in notepad++

I found another post talking about using gparted (free tool you put onto a bootable usb media) to use its gui menu to "check" the arpicades linux partition on the sd card to check/repair it. Done this,  took a few seconds.
Put sd card back into the pi5 and its fixed and boots

I'm glad that GParted worked, if it hadn't I think you would have had to re-image.  You should make a backup image of the SD card while you can, assuming you haven't already done it.
